My Valentine’s Day Eye Looks.

Happy Valentine’s Day lovelies! Today I wanted to share with you the makeup looks I created for my Valentine’s Day dinner with my hub and going to see ’50 Shades of Grey’ with my mom. These eye looks are pretty product heavy and I apologize, but I wanted a lot of elements to make them special.

Eye Look No.1: Dinner at the Cheesecake Factory with Nate:

We had the perfect dinner (and probably the most expensive one to date- $112.00 with the tip, but totally worth it) and I cooked up this little pretty little eye look to wear out. I really just wanted to use my Urban Decay Moondust Shadow and my new Milani Baked shadows… haha. Anywho, let’s get to details. I primed my lids using Too Faced Original Shadow Insurance. Next, I applied Milani Baked Eyeshadow in ‘I Heart You’ all over my eyelid. I then wet my brush to intensify the color and applied that only to the center of my lid as a highlight. Next, I applied Motives eyeshadow in ‘Native’ in the crease and blended that upward. I then added Urban Decay’s ‘Stark’ to that edge to further blend and Motive’s ‘Shell’ heavily blended under my brow. I lined my waterline using Urban Decay’s 24/7 Liner in ‘Smoke’ and brushed wet Milani Baked Eyeshadow in ‘Green Fortune’ under the lash line. Then I applied Urban Decay Moondust eyeshadow in ‘Solstice’ over the highlight area on the lid and sealed in the glitter using the Urban Decay Bondage adhesive. Then I lined my wings using the Urban Decay Perversion Cream Liner, applied Benefit’s Roller Lash Mascara and NYX Wicked Lashes.

Eye Look No.2: Movies with my Mom:

Do you think that’s too gaudy for a headpiece? Let me know what you think. I wanted to combine orange and purple for this one! I really ended up liking it. For this look, I applied the purple shadow from the Wet n’ Wild Fergie ‘Duchess Lounge’ Photo Focus Eyeshadow palette all over my lid and up into the crease. I applied wet, the purple shade from the Milani Runway Eyes Baked eyeshadows in ‘Primary’ to the center of my lid to intensify the purple. I blended out the crease using the matte purple shade in the Hard Candy Top Ten Trendsetters Eyeshadow Collection in ‘Aphrodisiac’ and Motives eyeshadow in ‘Native’. I made sure the ‘Native’ is more concentrated under my inner brow. Next, I lined my waterline with Urban Decay 24/7 Liner in ‘Perversion’ and brushed a little wet Milani Baked Shadow in the orange shade (Runway Eyes) and ‘Drenched in Gold’ under the lash line. I lined my wings using the Urban Decay Perversion Cream Liner making sure to leave the little window to apply glitter. I used Urban Decay’s Bondage adhesive to apply Urban Decay Heavy Metal Glitter in ‘ACDC’ in the window. I used Benefit’s Roller Lash mascara and applied NYX Wicked Lashes.

**on theĀ side reviews:

The Urban Decay Perversion Cream Liner– it’s just ok. If it gets in your inner corner, it’s gonna run and look nasty and it claims to be waterproof. My Lorac pen doesn’t do that. Boo. The black is really rich and it does stay put pretty well, so if you avoid that area, you should be good.

Benefit’s Roller Lash Mascara– Omg, seriously go buy it now. I’ll do a review with pictures on this one, but the beautiful curl just kills me with joy.

Milani Baked Eyeshadows– They are so beautiful and richly pigmented. I’ve seen mixed reviews and I’m thinking they got bad batches because mine happen to be exquisite. Consider me hooked. If you’d like picture swatches, let me know- you won’t be disappointed.

Eyelure LashFix in ‘Black’: My favorite eyelash glue to date. The black is awesome and the packaging is gorgeous- I’m a sucker for a glass bottle.

Have a great day lovelies!
